I aim to lo...I don't feel like I have a style. I aim to look neat and presentable in public. Every so often, I try to put a "look" together but I don't really have a signature look. I think if I had a career that took me out of the house everyday and in front of people everyday, I'd be more inclined to try to develop one though. Right now, the work I do doesn't really call for it. Nonetheless, I'm trying these days to punch it up a little. I am going to try to get my eyebrows done consistently and put on some brow pencil, try to use lip gloss instead of plain jane lip balm, keep my hair cut tight, and change my jewelry (I just bought a whole load of cheap, costume type jewelry--nothing too wild but that adds a little flavor). I tried to do foundation but that was way too much work. Like you, I would like to be more stylish but I don't have the will to put that much work into it right now . . . maybe when the kids are older.

Anywho . . .lol, I don't think getting a little more style will change your cooking or knitting (unless you start to knit some funky fresh and stylish things for yourself) but it definitely is a good pick up and makes you feel a lot better. Especially if you catch the hubby's eye (or the cute guy at the grocery store) a little more than usual. :)The Original Wombmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08635150040219983526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5430529882109875272.post-91126402119564586382009-08-26T04:03:27.445-04:002009-08-26T04:03:27.445-04:00That sounds like so much fun! If I happen to catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror as I walk by one I think "Hey, she looks kinda cute today" which is much better than "eeww...she looks like a frumpy housewife!" I can't wait to hear how your experiment goes.Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00130643353218132166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5430529882109875272.post-17085443644913546122009-08-25T12:02:03.903-04:002009-08-25T12:02:03.903-04:00Is rumpled a style?

I'm about to become a SAHM and not having to dress for the office (ironed shirt and khaki's) may make my style more I-don't-care. I really dig my flip-flops.

I hope my knitting and sewing go to the next level!Stone Fence Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09554179225868446246noreply@blogger.com
